How does a sale take place
Sales mandate All our forests are under a sales mandate according to Hoguet law (article 72, decree n° 72-678, July 20, 1972). Concerning our sales mandates, the forest is estimated according to different parameters :
- economical (base value, timber value, future value)
- technical (tracks state, quality of skidding areas, access to the forest, infrastructures…)
- environmental (station quality, adaptability to planting, sanitary state…)
- cynegetic (hunting plan )
- fiscal (agreement with the State, part of forest interest group…)
We also carry out studies of the title deed, the Simple Scheme of Management, maps of planting and the accounting and projected state (planned work and cutting)…
Marketing The forest is marketed thanks to five main media:
- Internet Site
- Specialized papers
- Interprofessional network
- Customers’ list
- International newspapers and relationships
Visiting the forest All our visits are accompanied. A complete file is handed to the buyer.
A sales agreement is completed. A down payment of 10% of the transaction amount is deposited in our depository account or in that of the seller’s notary.
For any agreement, the buyer shall produce the following documents:
- Name and Surname
- Profession
- Marital status
- Address
- Phone number
- Financial plan
- Name and address of his notary or barrister
Completion of an authentic sale The sale is completed at the buyer’s notary’s office or at his barrister’s in case of transfer of a forest interest group.
